    SEARCH ENGINE INSTRUCTIONS

1- Boolean operators and Query Syntax

Queries can be combined with the binary Boolean operators: “AND”, “OR”, and “NOT”. The “OR” operator can be omitted as it is the default.

It doesn’t matter if you use upper or lower case letters.

2- How to use the ProQolid Search Engine

You may want to search according to multiple criteria, e.g., all the self-administered instruments in one specific disease or all the instruments covering a specific pathology and available in a specific language.

For example, you can search for instruments translated into French in the field of gynecology. You will select your first term, gynecology, in the criterion: “Pathology.” Then you select the Boolean operator “AND” and finally your second criterion: French. By clicking on the “SEARCH” button at the bottom, you will access the list of instruments that are available both in French and in the field of gynecology. By clicking on the “MODIFY” button, you will be able to modify your search.

To view a demo of ProQolid, click on “Demo” in the top menu.
